By accessing and using Shortify.dev ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Shortify.dev is an AI-powered video processing service that creates short clips from longer videos. Our service includes:

AI-powered video analysis and clip generation
Multiple export formats and quality options
Cloud-based processing and storage
User dashboard and account management

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for illegal activities, upload copyrighted content without permission, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

4. Pricing and Payment

Free Tier

We offer 5 free video processing credits to new users. Free tier videos include Shortify branding.

Pro Tier

Pro users pay a minimum of $10 (20 credits) to begin. Additional credits cost $0.50 each. Pro videos have no branding and include advanced features.

Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Credits do not expire and there are no monthly subscriptions.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of your uploaded videos. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing our service.

Generated Content

You own the short clips generated from your videos. We do not claim ownership of your processed content.

Our Service

The Shortify service, including our AI algorithms and software, is protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

Perform scheduled maintenance
Update or modify the service
Suspend service for security reasons
Limit usage during high demand periods

7. Limitation of Liability

Shortify.dev is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to data loss, processing errors, or service interruptions.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will be revoked, but you retain ownership of any processed content you have downloaded.
